No matter what you're going to need the capability to dictate to your devices what their DNS server should be and make sure they're pointed at your resolver's IP. More tech savvy options, such as a Linux server running Dnsmasq / BIND / other packages. PfSense / OPNsense - Enterprise-level firewall software that can be run as an OS on a dedicated machine, virtualized, or bought as a pre-built appliance through Netgate or others (ProtectLi) PiHole - Software that can be run on low-power devices such as a Raspberry Pi (hence the name) There're a few things that can fill this role: Essentially you need something functioning as a DNS Resolver for your network. That kind of monitoring is doable but it's gonna be fiddly if you're trying to stick with your current hardware. Is this possible within the TP Link Deco software or does anyone know of a third party software I can use for this purpose? Being able to click the device via custom labeled name or IP address and then seeing the traffic the device is communicating. Ideal circumstances would be to see for example if a specific iPhone on the network accesses cryptocurrency websites such as Coinbase. ![]() I would much prefer software that keeps logs for days/weeks if possible. They do have a feature called Insights but it seems like the log is limited and quickly overwrites data. I am not looking to block but more so to monitor. The Deco system does have parental controls but they are limited and more or less allow you to block specific topics with filters such as adult content, gambling, pornography etc. Specifically to see if certain devices such as phones, tablets, PCs are accessing specific websites or apps.
